Secondhand Store Productions is excited to announce its latest live theatrical production, the original one-act play Girls on Film.
Appearing live at West Hollywood’s Hobgoblin Theatre February 19th to March 1st, the show appears as part of ‘Sleuthfest,’ the theatre’s curated collection of mystery/whodunnit short films and live theatre.
Rita, Gina and Asia find themselves in jail in their best mourning clothes. Each had the same job ten years apart from each other (1983, 1993 and 2003) working for the same boss - who may or may not have talked each of them into taking racy pictures. They also may or may not have broken into his house after his death to get them back.
Arrested now as suspects in his murder, these ‘Four Letter Ladies’ put their brains together to decide what - if anything - they’re going to do next.
A story about wanting to correct past mistakes, Girls on Film is funny, touching, and explores the emotions we carry long after getting conned into doing something we’d never dream up on our own.
